Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse, Operating Room – Olympia, WA 98506

Start Date: October 6, 2026

Location: Olympia, Washington

Schedule: 3x12-hour evening shifts (09:00 - 21:30), 91-day assignment through January 5, 2027

Highlights:

• Short-term acute care facility with 325 staffed beds utilizing EPIC charting system
• Scrub experience required across multiple surgical specialties including general, orthopedic, thoracic, ENT, urology, and trauma procedures
• Trauma Level II facility offering diverse case exposure and professional growth opportunities
• 40 hours of paid orientation to ensure successful onboarding and integration
• Opportunity to work with advanced surgical technologies including cell saver, laser, and electrosurgical units
• Competitive travel nursing assignment with comprehensive support throughout contract duration

Requirements:

• Active Washington state RN license or valid Compact license (must be in hand at time of submission)
• Minimum 1 year of Operating Room nursing experience required
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications
• Community hospital experience required; Trauma Level II experience required
• Proficiency in scrubbing for general surgery, orthopedic, thoracic, ENT, urology, and trauma procedures
• Experience with laparoscopic and arthroscopic procedures, total joint replacements, spinal fusion, and various resection procedures
• Knowledge of fire safety, laser safety, radiation safety, infection control, and specimen handling protocols
• EPIC charting system experience preferred
• Two professional references covering 1 year within the last 3 years
• Ability to commit to working 3 of 5 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)
