Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse, Operating Room – Olympia, WA 98506

Start Date: October 6, 2026

Location: Olympia, Washington

Schedule: 4x10-hour shifts, Days (06:30 - 17:00), 40 hours of orientation provided

Highlights:

• 13-week travel assignment at a 325-bed short-term acute care facility
• General surgical operating room with diverse case mix including thoracic, ENT, orthopedic, urologic, and trauma procedures
• Epic charting system utilized for documentation
• Scrub experience required across multiple surgical specialties
• Trauma Level II facility experience preferred
• One pre-approved time off request available during contract period

Requirements:

• Active Registered Nurse license (Compact license accepted and must be in hand at submission)
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications required
• Minimum 1 year of Operating Room nursing experience required
• Community hospital experience required; Trauma Level II experience preferred
• Epic charting system experience preferred
• Extensive scrub experience required across general surgery, orthopedic, thoracic, ENT, urology, and trauma procedures
• Proficiency in laparoscopic and arthroscopic procedures, wound management, specimen handling, laser safety, and administration of blood products
• Two professional references covering 1 year within the last 3 years
• Clean background check required (no exceptions for background findings)
• Willingness to float to sister facilities if needed and commit to working 3 of 5 major holidays during assignment
