Job Opportunity – Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) – NICU – Issaquah, WA 98029

Start Date: October 5, 2026

Location: Issaquah, Washington

Schedule: Day shift, 3x12-hour shifts (07:00 - 19:30). Every other weekend required (Friday + Saturday OR Saturday + Sunday). Flexibility with scheduling is essential for this small department.

Highlights:

• Work in a comprehensive facility featuring an 18-bed ICU, Level II Emergency Department, Medical-Surgical Department, and Level II 8-bed NICU
• Provide respiratory care to diverse patient populations including neonates, infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
• Gain experience across multiple units with both NICU and adult critical care responsibilities
• Join a supportive, collaborative team in a smaller department environment
• 13-week travel assignment with potential for extension
• First-time travelers accepted with appropriate experience

Requirements:

• Active Washington state license or Compact license (must be in hand at time of submission)
• Minimum 2 years of respiratory therapy experience required
• NICU and adult critical care experience required – will cover both units
• Current certifications: ACLS, BLS, NRP, PALS, CRT, and RRT (RRT preferred)
• Proficiency with Epic charting system required
• Formal NICU training and at least 1 year of NICU experience required
• Must be willing to float to other facilities within the health system as needed
• Must commit to working 3 of 5 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)
