Job Opportunity – Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) – NICU – Richland, WA 99352
Start Date: October 5, 2026
Location: Richland, Washington
Schedule: 4x12-hour shifts (Day shift: 07:00 - 19:00 or Night shift: 19:00 - 07:00). Flexible scheduling with variable shift assignments. Every other weekend required per collective bargaining agreement. 13-week assignment through January 4, 2027.

- Work in a Level III/IV NICU environment with advanced neonatal respiratory care
- 337-bed regional medical center with comprehensive interdisciplinary support including IV teams, rapid response teams, pharmacy, and physical therapy
- Reduced orientation period with 40 hours of non-billable orientation
- Exposure to diverse patient populations across all age groups from neonates to geriatrics
- Opportunity to work with specialized equipment including high-frequency ventilators and Bunnell Jet Ventilation
- Flexible internal float opportunities between respiratory therapy departments
Requirements:
- Active Washington State Respiratory Therapist license (must be in hand at submission)
- Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential required
- Minimum 2 years of respiratory therapy experience
- Level III or IV NICU experience required (hardstop requirement)
- Level 2 Adult ICU experience required; Neuro Trauma ICU experience strongly preferred
- Current certifications: ACLS, BLS, NRP, PALS (or ENPC), CRT or RRT
- Epic charting system experience required
- Trauma Level I or II experience preferred
- Two professional references covering one year of experience within the last three years
