Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse, Labor and Delivery – Edmonds, WA 98026

Start Date: October 19, 2026

Location: Edmonds, Washington

Schedule: Night shift, 4x12-hour shifts (19:00 - 07:30), 13-week assignment. Must commit to working 3 of 5 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day).

Highlights:

• Comprehensive Labor and Delivery experience including LDRP, postpartum, OB triage, antepartum, and normal newborn care
• Opportunity to work with high-risk and low-risk obstetrical patients in a dynamic family-centered environment
• Nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:1-3, ensuring quality patient care
• Epic charting system utilized for documentation
• Facility delivers 200-300 births per month
• Floating to sister facilities may be required as needed

Requirements:

• Active Washington state RN license or Compact license (must be in hand at time of submission)
• Minimum 2 years of recent experience in Labor and Delivery, LDRP, postpartum, and newborn care
• Required certifications: BLS, Fetal Heart Monitoring (FHM), NRP, AWHONN Intermediate
• Preferred certification: ACLS
• Proficiency in circulating for cesarean sections, starting and maintaining adult IVs, and administering blood/blood products
• Experience with magnesium sulfate therapy, insulin drips, epidural pumps, PCA pumps, and central line maintenance
• Competency in sterile vaginal exams, IUPC placement and calibration, and triage of obstetrical patients
• Epic charting system experience preferred
• Must not have been a permanent employee at any affiliated facility within the past 3 months
• Clean background check required; facility does not accept Nursys or background hits
