Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse, Medical Surgical – Lubbock, TX 79410

Start Date: October 5, 2026

Location: Lubbock, Texas

Schedule: Day shift, 3x12-hour shifts (07:00 - 19:00). Weekend coverage required (6 shifts per 6-week period). Floating between units may be required within acute care/medical surgical areas.

Requirements:

• Active Registered Nurse license (Compact license accepted and must be in hand at submission)
• Minimum 1 year of medical surgical nursing experience required
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications required
• Epic charting system experience required
• Experience with 1:5 patient ratios preferred
• Level II Trauma Center experience preferred
• Proficiency in medical surgical skills including blood product administration, central line management, chest tubes, wound care, IV therapy, and post-operative care
• Two professional references covering 1 year within the last 3 years
• Clean background check required
• Commitment to work 3 of 5 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)
