Job Opportunity – Physical Therapist, Acute Care – Petaluma, CA 94954

Start Date: October 19, 2026

Location: Petaluma, California

Schedule: Day shift, 5x8-hour shifts (08:00 - 16:30). Float coverage between inpatient and outpatient settings. May be asked to float to nearby facilities. Weekend coverage required; must be able to work independently as the only therapist on weekends. 40 hours of orientation provided.

• Mixed inpatient and outpatient physical therapy experience with adult populations
• Work with diverse patient populations including adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
• Acute care setting primarily serving med-surg and hospitalist referrals
• Comprehensive interdisciplinary support including respiratory services, pharmacy, radiology, and social services
• One pre-approved time off period available

Requirements:

• Active California state Physical Therapy license (compact license must be in hand at submission)
• Current BLS certification
• Minimum 2 years of physical therapy experience required
• Epic charting system experience required
• Experience in both inpatient and outpatient settings with adult populations preferred
• Community hospital experience preferred
• Strong time management skills and ability to work independently
• Two professional references covering 1 year within the last 3 years
• Must commit to working 3 of 5 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)
