Description
Job Opportunity – Mammography Technologist – Portland, OR 97213
Start Date: October 12, 2026
Location: Portland, Oregon
Schedule: Day shift, 4x10-hour shifts (08:00 - 17:30), Monday/Tuesday and Thursday/Friday. No weekends, no on-call, no floating required.
Highlights:
- 13-week travel assignment at a 418-bed short-term acute care facility
- Reduced orientation period with streamlined onboarding process
- Work with state-of-the-art Hologic equipment including 3D mammography technology
- 5-room mammography unit serving adult and geriatric patient populations
- Comprehensive interdisciplinary support including interpretation services and radiology team
- Epic charting system with modern digital mammography workflows
Requirements:
- Active Oregon state license (compact license accepted)
- ARRT (R) and ARRT Mammography certifications required
- Current BLS certification
- Minimum 1 year of mammography experience required
- Proficiency with Hologic equipment required
- Experience with 3D mammography, diagnostic and screening mammograms, digital quality assurance procedures
- Biopsy experience preferred (stereotactic biopsy, fine needle aspiration, needle localizations)
- Epic charting experience preferred
- Two professional references covering 1 year within the last 3 years
