Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse, Medical Surgical Neuro – Albuquerque, NM 87102

Start Date: October 12, 2026

Location: Albuquerque, New Mexico

Schedule: Night shift, 4x12-Hour (6:30 PM - 7:00 AM), 36 or 48 hours per week option available. 1:6 nurse-to-patient ratio. 6 weekend shifts required within a 6-week period. No call required. Floating to like units as needed.

• Comprehensive interdisciplinary support including PT, respiratory services, pharmacy, radiology, and social services
• Flexible scheduling with 36 or 48-hour weekly options, with straight time available for 48 hours
• 24-hour orientation provided to ensure successful transition

Requirements:

• Active New Mexico or Compact state RN license (pending accepted, must be obtained prior to start)
• Minimum 1 year of recent Medical Surgical or Neuro experience required
• BLS certification required
• NIHSS certification required (pending acceptable)
• CPI certification preferred
• Experience with 1:6 patient ratios
• Epic charting experience preferred
• Proficiency in skills including IV management, wound care, blood product administration, central line care, PCA, insulin administration, and isolation precautions
• Must reside outside 50-mile local radius
