Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse, Cath Lab – Albuquerque, NM 87102
Start Date: October 12, 2026
Location: Albuquerque, New Mexico
Schedule: Day shift, 4x10-hour shifts (07:00 - 17:30), 36 hours per week. Call coverage required 8-12 days per month. Every 4th weekend required.
Highlights:
- 13-week travel assignment in a dedicated cardiac catheterization laboratory
- Daily census of 20-30 patients with adolescent, adult, and geriatric populations
- Comprehensive interdisciplinary support including respiratory services, pharmacy, radiology, and rapid response teams
- First-time travelers welcome with 36-hour orientation provided
- Epic charting system utilized
- Maximum of 4 days of pre-approved time off available
Requirements:
- Active New Mexico or Compact RN license (pending license accepted, must be obtained prior to start)
- Minimum 1 year of Cath Lab experience required
- Current ACLS, BLS, and RCIS certifications required
- Must be able to take call for STEMI or Vascular procedures
- Experience with diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterizations, including left and right heart catheterizations
- Proficiency in circulating and scrubbing procedures, procedural sedation monitoring, and dysrhythmia interpretation
- Must reside outside 50-mile local radius
