Job Opportunity – MRI Technologist – Newberg, OR 97132

Start Date: October 19, 2026

Location: Newberg, Oregon

Schedule: Day shift 3x12-hour (07:00 - 19:00) or Night shift 3x12-hour (19:00 - 07:00); Friday, Saturday, Sunday schedule; No on-call required

Highlights:

• 13-week travel assignment at a 60-bed Short Term Acute Care facility with Level IV Trauma Center designation
• Work with dual MRI scanners (1.5T Philips and GE systems) in a 2-room department
• Daily caseload of 22-24 patients with diverse imaging needs including neuro, GI, and vascular cases
• Department operates 7 days per week from 6:30 AM to 9:00 PM for outpatient services with no call requirements
• Epic charting system in use; free parking provided
• One pre-approved time off period available during assignment

Requirements:

• ARRT MR or ARRT R certification required
• Current BLS certification
• Minimum 1 year of MRI technologist experience required
• Previous travel experience required
• Epic charting system experience required
• Community hospital experience required
• Valid state license (compact license accepted)
• Proficiency with various MRI procedures including brain, spine, abdomen, chest, pelvis, joints, and contrast administration
• Experience with both Philips and GE equipment preferred
• Must commit to working 3 of 5 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)
• Two professional references covering 1 year within the last 3 years
