Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse, Operating Room – Jacksonville, TX 75766

Start Date: October 19, 2026

Location: Jacksonville, Texas

Schedule: Day shift, 5x8-hour shifts (6:30 AM - 3:00 PM). Daily census of 7 patients across 5 operating rooms. Call coverage required, split between 3 RNs with an average of 10 call shifts per month. May need to recover patients if on call.

• 73-bed facility with comprehensive interdisciplinary support including Physical Therapy, Respiratory Services, Pharmacy, and Rapid Response Teams
• Epic charting system utilized for documentation
• Care for diverse patient populations including pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
• 13-week travel assignment with one pre-approved time off period available
• Onsite orientation provided with 36 hours of training

Requirements:

• Active RN license (state or compact license must be in hand at time of submission)
• Minimum 2 years of Operating Room nursing experience
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications required
• Epic charting experience required
• Travel nursing experience preferred
• Proficiency in OR procedures including laparoscopic cases, orthopedic/spine procedures, total joint replacements, GI/GU procedures, and general surgery
• Knowledge of cell saver, laser safety, radiation safety, specimen handling, and blood product administration
• Must complete core compliance items and labs within 48 hours of contract signing
