Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse, Cardiac Catheterization Lab – Santa Rosa, CA 95405

Start Date: October 19, 2026

Location: Santa Rosa, California

Schedule: Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM (5x8-hour shifts), with call shifts required during the week (4:00 PM to 7:00 AM) and weekends (Friday 4:00 PM through Monday 7:00 AM, every sixth weekend). Three shifts required in a two-week period.

Highlights:

• Six-month travel assignment in a Level II Trauma Center cardiac catheterization lab
• Work with a comprehensive range of diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures including PCI, TAVR, Watchman, and Impella insertion
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary support teams including respiratory services, pharmacy, radiology, and rapid response teams
• Three-room cardiac cath lab serving adult and geriatric patient populations
• 40 hours of paid orientation to ensure successful onboarding
• Opportunity to work in a facility with advanced cardiac interventional capabilities

Requirements:

• Active California Registered Nurse license or Compact license (must be in hand at time of submission)
• Minimum 5 years of cardiac catheterization lab nursing experience
• Level II Trauma Center experience required
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications
• Proficiency with Epic charting system required
• Extensive skills required including diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterizations, procedural sedation monitoring, IABP placement/removal, and vascular closure systems
• Experience with both circulating and scrubbing procedures preferred
• Two professional references covering one year of experience within the last three years
• Ability to work required call shifts and commit to working three of five major holidays
• Willingness to float to sister facilities as needed
