Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse, Labor and Delivery – Topeka, KS 66606

Start Date: October 7, 2026

Location: Topeka, Kansas

Schedule: Day shift, 4x12-Hour (06:00 - 18:00), with options for 36 or 48 hours per week. Weekend coverage required (6 weekend shifts in 6 weeks or every third weekend). Float to Postpartum as needed.

Highlights:

• High-risk Labor & Delivery unit serving patients with gestations 34 weeks and greater
• Comprehensive care including OB Triage, Postpartum, and Level 2 Special Care Nursery
• Experience with high-risk conditions including pre-eclampsia, diabetes, C-sections, and External Cephalic Versions
• First-time travelers accepted with 36-hour orientation provided
• Care for diverse patient populations including neonates, infants, adolescents, and adults
• 13-week assignment with competitive compensation

Requirements:

• Valid Kansas or Compact RN license required at time of submission
• Minimum 2 years of Labor and Delivery nursing experience
• Current certifications: BLS, Fetal Heart Monitoring (FHM), and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP)
• AWHONN Advanced or Intermediate certification required
• Epic charting system experience preferred
• Previous charge experience preferred
• Must reside outside 50-mile local radius
