Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse, Bed Placement Coordinator – Spokane, WA 99204

Start Date: October 19, 2026

Location: Spokane, Washington

Schedule: Night shift, 4x10-hour shifts (8:00 PM - 6:30 AM). Every other weekend required. This is a no patient contact position focused on bed placement coordination.

Highlights:

• Work in a 629-bed short-term acute care teaching hospital with Level II Trauma and Level II Pediatric Trauma Center designations
• Bed Placement RN Coordinator role within the Admit/Transfer Center, collaborating closely with house supervisors
• No direct patient contact; focus on intake, bed control, transfers, and bed placement coordination
• Epic charting system utilized throughout the facility
• Free parking provided for all staff
• Flexible shift lengths available (10 or 12-hour shifts)

Requirements:

• Active Washington RN license or Compact license (must be in hand at time of submission)
• Minimum 2 years of experience as a house supervisor or transfer center experience required
• At least 1 year of recent RN experience
• Epic charting system experience required
• Experience with crisis intervention/management, facility/bed diversion, organizational escalation processes, and transfer to higher level of care
• Background in multiple care settings preferred: Emergency Department, ICU, NICU, PICU, MS/Tele, Surgical Services, Pediatrics
• Two professional references covering 1 year within the last 3 years
• Commitment to work 3 of 5 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)
