Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse, Labor and Delivery – Portland, OR 97213

Start Date: October 12, 2026

Location: Portland, Oregon metropolitan area

Schedule: Night or Mid 3x12-hour shifts (either 3:00 AM - 3:00 PM or 3:00 PM - 3:00 AM). Every other weekend required. On-call required if cancelled. 13-week assignment with reduced orientation (36 hours vs. standard 40 hours).

• High-volume unit with 200-300 births per month and 43 labor and delivery rooms
• Reduced non-billable orientation for experienced travelers

• Flexible shift start times with advance notice for schedule changes

Requirements:

• Active Registered Nurse license (Compact license accepted)
• Minimum 2 years of Labor and Delivery experience required
• Certifications: BLS, NRP, and AWHONN Intermediate
• Epic charting experience required
• High-risk OB experience with ability to float to Postpartum and High-Risk Antepartum units
• Experience with magnesium sulfate therapy, insulin drips, hemorrhage management, and pre-eclampsia/eclampsia care
• Proficiency in cesarean section circulation, neonatal resuscitation, and abnormal fetal heart rate pattern recognition
• Must have reliable transportation; floating to nearby facilities may be required
• Clean background check required; no background or license board issues accepted
• Two professional references covering one year within the last three years
