Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse, Labor and Delivery – Portland, OR 97213

Start Date: October 12, 2026

Location: Portland, Oregon metropolitan area

Schedule: 3x12-hour shifts with flexible start times including day shifts (11:00 - 23:00) and mid shifts (15:00 - 03:00). Every other weekend required. On-call responsibilities as needed. Expected patient ratios of 1:1 during active labor and 1:3 for couplet care. Assignment duration of 13 weeks.

Requirements:

• Current Registered Nurse license (Compact license accepted and must be in hand at submission)
• Minimum 2 years of Labor and Delivery nursing experience required
• BLS, NRP, and AWHONN Intermediate certifications required
• Epic charting system experience required
• High-risk OB experience including pre-eclampsia/eclampsia, magnesium sulfate therapy, and hemorrhage management
• Proficiency in fetal monitoring, neonatal resuscitation, cesarean section circulation, and vaginal delivery assistance
• Experience with administration of blood products, insulin drips, epidural management, and antihypertensives
• Ability to perform sterile vaginal exams, amnioinfusion, and assist with high-risk deliveries
• Willingness to float between multiple facilities in the Portland metro area as needed
• Must have reliable transportation for this assignment
• Two professional references covering one year of experience within the last three years
• Clean background check required; no exceptions for background findings
