Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse, Labor and Delivery – Portland, OR 97213

Start Date: October 12, 2026

Location: Portland, Oregon metropolitan area

Schedule: 3x12-hour shifts; Mid shifts (3:00 PM - 3:00 AM) or Night shifts (3:00 AM - 3:00 PM). Every other weekend required. On-call required on scheduled days if cancelled. 1:1 patient ratios. Assignment duration of 112 days through February 1, 2027.

Short-term acute care facility with 418 staffed beds and Level III NICU support
High-volume unit with 200-300 deliveries per month and 43 labor and delivery rooms
Epic charting system with OBIX fetal monitoring technology
Comprehensive experience with high-risk OB, antepartum, labor and delivery, and mother-baby care
Opportunity to work with interdisciplinary team including interpretation services
Flexible shift times with advance notice for schedule changes; free parking provided

Requirements:

Active Compact RN license (must be in hand at time of submission)
Minimum 2 years of Labor and Delivery nursing experience required
Required certifications: BLS, NRP, AWHONN Intermediate
Epic charting system experience required
High-risk OB experience required, including magnesium sulfate therapy, pre-eclampsia/eclampsia management, and insulin drips
Competency in neonatal resuscitation, cesarean section circulation and recovery, and hemorrhage/shock management
Willingness to float between Labor and Delivery, Mother-Baby Unit, and Antepartum units as needed
Must have reliable vehicle for assignment
Two professional references covering one year within the last three years
Commitment to work 3 of 5 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)
