Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse, Labor and Delivery – Portland, OR 97213

Start Date: October 12, 2026

Location: Portland, Oregon metropolitan area

Schedule: 3x12-hour shifts with flexible start times (3:00 AM, 11:00 AM, 3:00 PM, or 11:00 PM). Night and day shift options available. Every other weekend required. On-call required on scheduled shifts if cancelled. 112-day assignment through February 1, 2027.

• High-volume Labor and Delivery unit with 200-300 births per month at a 418-bed short-term acute care facility
• Level III NICU support with comprehensive interdisciplinary team including interpretation services
• Patient ratios of 1:1 to 1:3 couplets with focus on high-risk obstetrics and antepartum care
• Epic charting system with OBIX fetal monitoring technology
• Opportunity to work across Labor and Delivery, Mother Baby, and Antepartum units based on patient needs

Requirements:

• Active RN license (Compact license accepted and must be in hand at submission)
• Minimum 2 years of Labor and Delivery nursing experience required
• Current certifications: BLS, NRP, and AWHONN Intermediate
• Epic charting experience required
• High-risk OB experience including magnesium sulfate therapy, pre-eclampsia/eclampsia management, antihypertensives, and antiseizure medications
• Proficiency in cesarean section circulation, assisting with high-risk deliveries, neonatal resuscitation, and couplet care
• Experience with amnioinfusion, blood product administration, insulin drips, and prostaglandins preferred
• Must have reliable vehicle for assignment
• Two professional references covering one year within the last three years
• Willingness to float to multiple facilities within the health system as needed
