Job Opportunity – Emergency Department Registered Nurse – Torrance, CA 90503

Start Date: October 12, 2026

Location: Torrance, California

Schedule: Mid shift, 3x12-hour shifts (14:00 - 02:30), every other weekend required (6-8 shifts per contract), 1:4 patient ratio

• High-volume emergency department with approximately 180-185 visits daily

Requirements:

• Active California RN license or Compact license (must be in hand at time of submission)
• Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department nursing experience required
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIH Stroke Scale, PALS
• Preferred certifications: TNCC, EDAP or ENPC
• Epic charting system experience required
• Experience with 1:4 patient ratios
• Trauma Level I or II experience preferred
• Previous charge experience preferred
• Must be willing to float to pediatric emergency department and potentially to sister facilities as needed
• Commitment to work 3 of 5 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)
• Two professional references covering 1 year within the last 3 years
