Job Opportunity – Emergency Department Registered Nurse – Napa, CA 94558

Start Date: October 12, 2026

Location: Napa, California

Schedule: Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts (variable start times at 15:00 or 19:00), every other weekend required. 91-day assignment through January 11, 2027.

• Manageable 1:4 nurse-to-patient ratios across all shifts
• Epic charting system with comprehensive interdisciplinary support including respiratory services, pharmacy, radiology, and social services

• First-time travelers welcome with at least 2 years of Emergency Department experience
• Winter rate increase effective through February 27, 2027

Requirements:

• Active California RN license or Compact license (must be in hand at time of submission)
• Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department nursing experience
• Current certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIH Stroke Scale, PALS, and TNCC
• Experience with ICP monitoring and triage preferred
• Must commit to working 3 of 5 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)
• Two professional references covering 1 year within the last 3 years
• Candidates residing within 50 miles are not eligible at standard rates
