Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse, NICU – Seattle, WA 98122

Start Date: October 19, 2026

Location: Seattle, Washington

Schedule: Day shift, 3x12-hour shifts (07:00 - 19:30). Block scheduling available for those who prefer to work three or more consecutive shifts. Intermittent weekend coverage required. Must commit to working 3 of 5 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day).

Highlights:

• Level III/IV NICU with 77 beds and average daily census of 50 patients
• Care for 23-24 week gestation neonates with advanced interventions including high-frequency ventilators, oscillators, CPAP/BiPap, therapeutic hypothermia, and PICC/central lines
• 2:1 patient ratio across all shifts for optimal patient care
• Attend high-risk deliveries and neonatal surgeries with comprehensive interdisciplinary support including respiratory therapy, pharmacy, and rapid response teams
• Dedicated admit nurse handles most admissions; travelers focus on ongoing critical care
• Epic charting system with 24-40 hours of orientation provided

Requirements:

• Active Washington RN license or compact license (must be in hand at time of submission)
• Minimum 3 years of NICU experience required; must have at least 3 years in Level III NICU or 2 years in Level IV NICU
• BLS and NRP certifications required
• Experience with administration of blood and blood products, central line care, ventilator management, neonatal dosage calculations, and feeding tube placement/management
• Proficiency with 29-34+ week neonates and therapeutic interventions
• Willingness to float to sister campuses as needed (primarily NICU; rare float to pediatrics for infant-only assignments)
• Two professional references covering 1 year within the last 3 years
