Job Opportunity – Physical Therapist, Acute Care – Walla Walla, WA 99362

Start Date: October 19, 2026

Location: Walla Walla, Washington

Schedule: Day shift, 5x8-hour shifts (08:00 - 16:00), 40 hours per week. Occasional weekend coverage required to support regular staff. Patient volume approximately 10 patients per day with a ratio of 8 patients to 1 therapist.

• 13-week travel assignment at a 104-bed short-term acute care hospital with Level III Trauma Center designation
• Diverse patient population including orthopedics, trauma, stroke, amputation, debility, Parkinson's, COPD, and cardiac conditions
• Float opportunities across multiple units including Medical, Surgical, ICU, Same Day Surgery, Inpatient Rehab, and ED
• Epic charting system with 40 hours of orientation provided
• Rural hospital setting offering exposure to a wide variety of clinical presentations and patient care scenarios
• Interdisciplinary support including Respiratory Services, Interpretation Services, Social Services, and Rapid Response Teams

Requirements:

• Active Washington state Physical Therapy license required at time of submission
• Minimum 1 year of acute care physical therapy experience required
• Current BLS certification
• Epic charting system experience required
• Inpatient rehabilitation experience preferred but not required
• Experience with adult and geriatric patient populations
• Two professional references covering 1 year within the last 3 years
• Must reside outside 50-mile local radius or willing to accept local terms
