Job Opportunity – Physical Therapist, Acute Care – Chewelah, WA 99109

Start Date: October 19, 2026

Location: Chewelah, Washington

Schedule: Monday through Thursday, 7:20 AM - 5:50 PM (4x10-hour shifts). Day shift with no weekends or on-call required. Patient ratios of 1:5-10. This position involves working in acute care in the morning, then traveling approximately 23 miles to a sister facility for afternoon outpatient coverage.

• Critical access hospital with 23 beds and a daily census of approximately 5 patients
• Dual setting opportunity working both inpatient acute care and outpatient rehabilitation
• Collaborative interdisciplinary team including PT, OT, and SLP with interpretation services available
• Diverse patient population including all age groups from infants to geriatrics
• Epic charting system with 30 hours of paid orientation
• 13-week travel assignment in a rural healthcare setting

Requirements:

• Valid Washington state Physical Therapy license (compact license accepted if obtained prior to submission)
• Current BLS certification
• Minimum 1 year of physical therapy experience required
• Experience in both acute care and outpatient settings preferred
• Epic charting experience preferred
• Ability to travel between two facilities (approximately 23 miles) during shift
• Two professional references covering 1 year within the last 3 years
• Clean background check required
