Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse, PACU – Everett, WA 98201

Start Date: October 19, 2026

Location: Everett, Washington

Schedule: 4x10-hour evening shifts (10:30 AM - 9:00 PM); 70 guaranteed hours per 2-week period; 3:1 patient ratio; float required; possibly 1 weekend shift per schedule period

Highlights:

• Level II Trauma Center with 571 total staffed beds utilizing EPIC charting system
• Diverse surgical patient population including pediatric (1 year and older), adult, and geriatric patients
• Comprehensive surgical specialties including vascular, orthopedic, neuro/spine, cardiovascular, trauma, bariatric, and interventional radiology
• Pre/post surgical care for same-day surgeries, inpatient admissions, and observation patients following ASPAN standards
• Daily census of 80-100 patients with 60 rooms and extensive interdisciplinary support services
• First-time travelers accepted; 13-week assignment with facility-paid parking

Requirements:

• Active Compact RN license (must be in hand at submission)
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications required
• Minimum 1 year of PACU nursing experience required
• EPIC charting experience preferred; previous charge experience preferred
• Experience with pre/post operative procedures, Phase II recovery, conscious sedation, and dysrhythmia recognition
• Skills in pain management, IV therapy, discharge instructions, and medication reconciliation
• Must reside outside 50-mile local radius; local candidates not accepted
• Two professional references covering 1 year within the last 3 years required
