Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse, Medical-Surgical/Telemetry – Northport, AL

Location: Northport, Alabama

Schedule: Night shift, 12-hour shifts, 36 guaranteed hours per week. Every other weekend required. Holiday coverage as required. Must be willing to float to other units and facilities as needed.

• Patient-centered care model emphasizing pain management, mobility, and complication prevention
• 91-day assignment with opportunities to develop advanced nursing skills in a collaborative team environment

Requirements:

• Associate degree in nursing required
• Active Alabama or Compact state Registered Nurse license (temporary licenses not accepted)
• Current NURSYS verification
• AHA BLS or Red Cross certification required
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience; 18 months may be considered with at least 1 year of recent medical-surgical or telemetry specialty experience
• Flexibility to float to other units and hospital locations as needed
