Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse (Med/Tele) – Alliance, NE 69301

Start Date: November 3, 2026

Location: Alliance, Nebraska

Schedule: 12-hour night shifts, 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM, 36 guaranteed hours per week. Shifts include 6:30 PM - 7:00 AM. Orientation held every Wednesday with three days of classroom training and one shift with a preceptor.

Highlights:

• Work in a 25-bed private unit with a 1:4 nurse-to-patient ratio (1:5 as a stretch)
• Charge Nurse available on every shift who does not take patients
• Comprehensive support services including 24/7 lab, in-house pharmacy until 11:00 PM, and excellent therapy services
• Patient population includes COPD, CHF, swing bed patients, wound care, post-partum, and pediatric patients
• Central telemetry monitoring with portable tele monitors available
• 88-day assignment with competitive compensation including charge differential and overtime rates

Requirements:

• Active RN license with ability to practice in Nebraska
• Minimum 2 years of experience in Medical/Surgical or Telemetry unit
• Previous experience working in a Critical Access Hospital required
• BLS and ACLS (American Heart Association) certification required; PALS preferred
• Experience with Meditech Expanse computer charting system
• Current professional references from supervisors within the past three years
• Reliable personal transportation required (ride-sharing services not available in this area)
• Completion of all required health screenings, background checks, and credentialing
