Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse ICU – Hood River, OR 97031

Start Date: October 26, 2026

Location: Hood River, Oregon

Schedule: Day shift, 3x12-hour shifts (07:00 - 19:00), every other weekend required. 26-week assignment with 40 hours of orientation.

Highlights:

• Critical Access/Level III Trauma Center with 25 staffed beds and 4 ICU beds
• Patient ratios of 1:1-2 in ICU; 1:4-5 when floating to Medical/Surgical units
• Epic charting system in use; scrubs provided for critical care areas
• Comprehensive interdisciplinary support including respiratory services, pharmacy, rapid response teams, and more
• First-time travelers and those with 1 year of experience welcome to apply
• Float opportunities to multiple regional facilities based on operational needs

Requirements:

• Active Compact RN license (must be in hand at time of submission)
• Minimum 1 year of ICU nursing experience required
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and TNCC
• Experience with patient ratios of 1:2 or higher
• Epic charting experience preferred
• Must be willing to float to Medical/Surgical units as needed (majority of shifts may be Med/Surg)
• Reliable vehicle required for this assignment
• Two professional references covering 1 year within the last 3 years
• Clean background check required; no exceptions for background discrepancies
• Must commit to working 3 of 5 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)
