Job Opportunity – Physical Therapist Assistant – Fairfield, IA 52556

Start Date: October 19, 2026

Location: Fairfield, Iowa

Schedule: 8-hour day shifts, 35 guaranteed hours per week, 91-day assignment through January 16, 2027

Highlights:

• Travel Physical Therapist Assistant opportunity in a skilled nursing facility setting
• Provide direct physical therapy interventions under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist
• Work with residents experiencing temporary or long-term disabilities to restore function and promote healing

Requirements:

• Associate degree from a CAPTE-accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
• Current certification from the National Physical Therapy Exam (NPTE) for PTAs
• Valid state licensure or certification with online verification
• Preferred post-graduate experience in skilled nursing facility settings
• Strong understanding of human anatomy, physiology, and therapeutic interventions
• Excellent communication skills with empathy and patience when working with patients
• Physical stamina to assist patients with movement and exercises
