Job Opportunity – Dietary Manager – South Bend, WA 98586

Start Date: October 13, 2026

Location: South Bend, Washington

Schedule: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM, 40 hours per week guaranteed, 90-day assignment through January 11, 2027. This position includes scheduled weekend coverage and requires a hands-on leadership approach with occasional coverage during critical staffing gaps.

Highlights:

• Lead and oversee a team of 9 dietary staff members in a healthcare setting
• Provide operational oversight and leadership across all active shifts
• Direct all dietary and food services functions including therapeutic and non-therapeutic menu planning
• Manage departmental budget and ensure compliance with sanitation standards
• Hands-on leadership role with opportunities to make meaningful impact on patient nutrition services

Requirements:

• Bachelor of Science Degree in Food Services OR Certified Dietary Manager credential required
• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Dietary Manager in a healthcare setting
• Minimum 4 years of experience in the healthcare food service industry
• Strong supervisory and budget management skills
• Knowledge of sanitation standards and food safety protocols
