Description

Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse, Cath Lab – Albuquerque, NM 87102

Start Date: October 26, 2026

Location: Albuquerque, New Mexico

Schedule: Day shift, 4x10-hour shifts (07:00 - 17:30), 36 hours per week. Call coverage required 8-12 days per month. Every 4th weekend rotation.

Highlights:

13-week travel assignment in a specialized cardiac catheterization laboratory
Daily census of 20-30 patients with adolescent, adult, and geriatric populations
Comprehensive interdisciplinary support including respiratory services, pharmacy, radiology, and rapid response teams
First-time travelers welcome; 36-hour orientation provided
Epic charting system utilized
Maximum of 4 days pre-approved time off available

Requirements:

Active RN license (New Mexico or Compact license accepted; must be obtained prior to start)
Current certifications: ACLS, BLS, and RCIS required
Minimum 1 year of Cath Lab experience required
Must be able to take call for STEMI or vascular procedures
Experience with diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterizations, procedural sedation, and dysrhythmia management
Must reside outside 50-mile local radius
