Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse, Mother-Baby / Postpartum – Seattle, WA 98122

Start Date: October 19, 2026

Location: Seattle, Washington

Schedule: Day shift, 3x12-hour or 4x12-hour shifts (07:00 - 19:30), traveler's choice of 13 or 26-week assignment. Six weekend days per contract required. Must commit to working 3 of 5 major holidays.

Highlights:

• High-volume postpartum unit with diverse patient population and high-risk obstetric care
• Standard assignment of 4 couplets with ability to manage census surges
• Daily census of 45 patients across 57 beds with comprehensive interdisciplinary support including IV teams, respiratory services, pharmacy, and rapid response teams
• Flexible assignment length options (13 or 26 weeks) and schedule preferences (3x12 or 4x12)
• First-time travelers accepted with appropriate experience level
• Orientation provided with comprehensive onboarding support

Requirements:

• Active Registered Nurse license (Compact license accepted)
• Minimum 2 years of postpartum nursing experience required
• High-risk obstetric care experience mandatory
• Epic EMR experience required (non-negotiable)
• Current BLS and NRP certifications
• Demonstrated experience with magnesium sulfate therapy, Pitocin administration, Foley catheter management, and postpartum hemorrhage protocols
• Experience caring for patients with substance withdrawal preferred
• JADA experience preferred
• Willingness to float to nearby campuses (postpartum units and labor and delivery for second-hour recovery)
• Two professional references covering one year of experience within the last three years
