Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse, Postpartum / Mother-Baby – Seattle, WA 98122

Start Date: October 19, 2026

Location: Seattle, Washington

Schedule: Night shift, 3x12 or 4x12-hour shifts (19:00 - 07:30), traveler's choice. Assignment length of 13 or 26 weeks available. Six weekend days per contract required. Must commit to working 3 of 5 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day).

• High-volume, high-acuity postpartum unit with diverse patient population and high-risk obstetric patients
• Standard patient assignment of 4 couplets with potential for census surge management
• Daily census of 45 patients across 57 beds with comprehensive interdisciplinary support including IV teams, respiratory services, pharmacy, and rapid response teams
• Flexible assignment length and scheduling options to accommodate your preferences
• First-time travelers accepted with appropriate experience and high-acuity background
• Comprehensive orientation of 40 hours provided

Requirements:

• Active Washington state RN license or valid Compact license (must be in hand at submission)
• Minimum 2 years of postpartum nursing experience with high-acuity patient care
• Epic charting system experience required (non-negotiable)
• Current BLS and NRP certifications required
• Demonstrated experience with high-risk obstetric care, magnesium sulfate therapy, Pitocin administration, postpartum hemorrhage management, and substance withdrawal patients
• Ability to float to nearby campuses (Issaquah and Edmonds postpartum units) and Labor and Delivery for second-hour recovery as needed
• Experience with cesarean section care, episiotomy/incision care, fundus/lochia/perineum care, Foley catheterization, and vaginal delivery
• JADA experience preferred
• Two professional references covering one year of experience within the last three years
