Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse, Mother-Baby / Postpartum – Issaquah, WA 98029

Start Date: October 19, 2026

Location: Issaquah, Washington

Schedule: Day shift, 3x12-hour shifts (07:00 - 19:30). Weekend coverage required to meet staffing needs. Must commit to working 3 of 5 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day). Assignment duration is 26 weeks (182 days).

Highlights:

• 16-bed postpartum unit providing couplet care for vaginal and cesarean deliveries
• Comprehensive care including GYN surgeries, low-risk antepartum, and transition nursery services
• Epic charting system utilized for documentation
• Floating may be required to NICU, Labor & Delivery, or sister campus locations
• Orientation provided with 40 hours of onboarding support
• Opportunity to work with diverse patient populations including postpartum readmissions and normal newborn care

Requirements:

• Active Registered Nurse license (Compact license required at time of submission)
• Minimum 2 years of recent postpartum/mother-baby nursing experience required
• Previous travel nursing experience required; first-time travelers not accepted
• Current BLS and NRP certifications required
• Epic charting system experience required
• Proficiency in blood/blood products administration, epidural pumps, PCA pumps, syringe pumps, and wound vac management
• Experience with high-risk medications including heparin, insulin, and magnesium sulfate
• Competency in postpartum care, post-operative care, newborn assessment, thermoregulation, and glucose management
• Skills in discharge teaching, breastfeeding instruction, episiotomy/incision care, and postpartum hemorrhage management
• Clean background check required (no Nursys or background hits accepted)
• Two professional references covering 1 year within the last 3 years
