Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse, Mother-Baby / Postpartum – Issaquah, WA 98029

Start Date: October 19, 2026

Location: Issaquah, Washington

Schedule: Day shift, 3x12-hour shifts (07:00 - 19:30), 13-week assignment. Weekend coverage required to meet staffing needs. Must commit to working 3 of 5 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day).

Highlights:

• 16-bed postpartum unit providing couplet care for vaginal and cesarean deliveries
• Comprehensive patient population including GYN surgeries, low-risk antepartum, and transition nursery
• Epic charting system experience required
• Floating may be required to NICU, Labor & Delivery, or sister campus locations
• Opportunity to work with diverse postpartum and newborn care scenarios including thermoregulation and glucose management

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of postpartum/mother-baby nursing experience required
• Active Compact RN license (must be in hand at time of submission)
• Current BLS and NRP certifications required
• Previous travel nursing experience required; first-time travelers not accepted
• Epic charting system experience mandatory
• Proficiency in blood/blood products administration, epidural pumps, PCA pumps, syringe pumps, and wound vac
• Experience with postpartum hemorrhage, pregnancy-induced hypertension, and medication administration including heparin, insulin, and magnesium sulfate
• Competency in newborn assessment, phototherapy, breastfeeding instruction, and discharge teaching
• Two professional references covering 1 year within the last 3 years
• Clean background check required; no exceptions for background findings
