Description
Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse, ICU – Tyler, TX 75701
Start Date: October 20, 2026
Location: Tyler, Texas
Schedule: Day shift, 4x12-hour shifts (07:00 - 19:00). Choice of 36 or 48 hour weekly schedules available. Weekend coverage required (6 shifts per 6-week period). Patient ratio 1:2.
Highlights:
- Medical-Surgical ICU with 16 beds and average daily census of 14 patients
- 13-week travel assignment with comprehensive interdisciplinary support including respiratory services, pharmacy, rapid response teams, and physical therapy
- Epic charting system with 12 hours of orientation provided
- Work with advanced equipment including CRRT (NXXT Stage) and manage complex critical care patients
- Collaborative environment serving adult and geriatric patient populations
Requirements:
- Active Texas RN license or Compact license required at time of submission
- Minimum 2 years of ICU nursing experience preferred
- Previous travel nursing experience required
- Current certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, and PALS
- Epic charting system experience required
- Experience with patient ratios of 2-3 patients preferred
- Must not reside in the following Texas counties: Henderson, Anderson, Cherokee, Rusk, Panola, Smith, Gregg, Van Zandt, Wood, Upshur, Camp, Hopkins, Franklin, Titus, or Morris
