Job Opportunity – Obstetrics Registered Nurse – Machias, ME 04654

Start Date: September 15, 2026

Location: Machias, Maine

Schedule: Night shift, 13-week assignment (September 15, 2026 – December 15, 2026). Overtime available after 40 hours per week. Holiday rate available.

Highlights:

• Provide holistic, individualized care for obstetrics patients including antepartum, intrapartum, postpartum, nursery, and post-op gynecology patients
• Work independently using clinical competency and nursing judgment in a supportive team environment
• Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary personnel to deliver high-quality, age-appropriate patient care
• No on-call requirements

Requirements:

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
• Current Maine RN license or ability to obtain
• Minimum one year of acute care experience as a Registered Nurse
• Current BLS, ACLS, Neonatal Resuscitation Certificate, and STABLE certification required
• COVID-19 vaccination required per state mandate
• Effective written and oral communication skills and basic computer proficiency
