Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse, Acute Rehabilitation – Napa, CA 94558

Start Date: October 26, 2026

Location: Napa Valley region, Northern California

Schedule: Day shift, 3x12-hour shifts (07:00 - 19:00). Every other weekend required. Patient ratio 1:5. Average daily census of 10 patients in a 14-bed unit. Float to medical-surgical and orthopedic units as needed. Call may be required depending on patient census.

Highlights:

• Work in a specialized acute rehabilitation setting with patients participating in 3 hours of daily therapy (PT, OT, and SLP)
• Treat diverse patient populations including stroke, brain injury, spinal cord injury, neurological disorders, orthopedic conditions, and multi-trauma
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including physical therapy, respiratory services, pharmacy, and rapid response teams
• 13-week travel assignment with 40 hours of orientation
• Opportunity to work with adults and geriatric populations in a supportive care environment
• Up to 7 days of requested time off available

Requirements:

• Active California RN license or Compact license (must be in hand at submission; pending licenses not accepted)
• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience required
• Minimum 1 year of acute rehabilitation experience required (hard stop)
• BLS certification required
• Epic charting system experience required
• Experience with specialized equipment including Golvo, Sera Steady, and Roll on
• Proficiency in acute rehab skills including stroke care, traumatic brain injury, spinal cord injury, tracheostomy care, feeding tube management, and wound care
• Two professional references covering 1 year within the last 3 years
• Candidates located within 50 miles may be considered at an adjusted rate
