Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse, Emergency Psychiatric Services – Lewiston, ME 04240

Start Date: October 19, 2026

Location: Lewiston, Maine

Schedule: Night shift, 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, 13-week assignment

Highlights:

• Work in a comprehensive behavioral healthcare facility specializing in crisis psychiatric care
• Provide care to patients age 5 and up with various psychiatric illnesses including major depression, bipolar disorder, adjustment disorder, and psychotic disorders
• Serve as an essential member of the patient care team in Emergency Psych Services
• Develop individualized, interdisciplinary care plans and evaluate patient outcomes
• Opportunity to make a meaningful impact in mental health and behavioral healthcare

Requirements:

• Associate's degree in Nursing (2-year program) required
• Valid State of Maine RN license required (clean licensure record required)
• BLS Certification required
• Current CPI training required prior to start date
• Minimum 1 year of previous mental health nursing experience required
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
• Strong team player with ability to manage stress and make decisions under pressure
• Must reside outside of a 50-mile radius from the facility
