Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse, Medical-Surgical / Renal – Zanesville, OH 43701

Start Date: October 19, 2026

Location: Zanesville, Ohio

Schedule: Night shift, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM, 36 hours per week with every other weekend required. This is a 13-week travel assignment ending January 18, 2027.

Highlights:

• Specialized 21-bed Renal/Medical-Surgical unit caring for patients with acute and chronic kidney disease, post-dialysis needs, and complex medical-surgical conditions
• High-acuity environment with diverse patient population requiring continuous monitoring and multidisciplinary coordination
• Cardiac telemetry monitoring and interpretation integrated into daily practice
• Opportunity to float to similar units including Wound Care, Stroke, Oncology, Cardiac, Observation, and ED boarders
• No on-call requirements
• Guaranteed 36 hours per week

Requirements:

• Active Ohio RN license required at time of submission
• Current BLS certification
• Minimum 3 years of recent Medical-Surgical and Telemetry experience; renal experience strongly preferred
• Proven ability to independently read and interpret telemetry strips
• Epic EMR proficiency is mandatory; no training will be provided
• Competency testing required on Day 1
• Strong critical thinking skills and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume setting
