Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse, Step Down/PCU – Columbia, MO 65201

Start Date: October 5, 2026

Location: Columbia, Missouri

Schedule: Night shift, 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM, 36 guaranteed hours per week. Nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:3 (not guaranteed). Floating is required. 91-day assignment through January 4, 2027.

Highlights:

• Step Down/PCU unit caring for a diverse patient population including surgical, medical, and neurological cases
• Hands-on experience with vasoactive drip titration including neosynephrine, amiodarone, and cardizem
• Work with advanced equipment including IV pumps, PCA pumps, BiPAPs, CPAPs, Optiflows, Vapotherms, and Airvos
• Preference given to candidates with combined ICU and PCU experience
• Quick start opportunity available for qualified candidates

Requirements:

• Active RN license in Missouri or compact state license
• Minimum 2 years of critical care experience required
• Required skills: IV insertion, PICC/Central line management, vascular device access/care, dialysis fistula care/management, A-line management, CPAP/BiPAP, trach care, epidural/PCA pumps, feeding tubes, and wound vac
• Preferred skills: CVP monitoring, 12-lead EKG, sheath removal, cardioversion/defibrillation
• Experience with vasoactive drip titration required
