Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse, Psychiatric Adolescent – Lewiston, ME 04240

Start Date: October 19, 2026

Location: Lewiston, Maine

Schedule: Days, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM, 3x12-hour shifts per week. 13-week assignment (91 days). No on-call requirements.

Highlights:

• Travel nursing opportunity in a psychiatric adolescent unit
• Work with a dedicated patient care team focused on adolescent mental health
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary health professionals in planning and managing patient care
• Provide direct patient care, education to patients and families, and maintain a safe therapeutic environment
• Overtime available after 40 hours per week

Requirements:

• Current Maine RN license required with no disciplinary actions or background issues
• Graduate of an approved nursing program
• Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certifications required
• 1-3 years of previous nursing experience working with children and adolescents preferred
• Basic Dysrhythmia certification preferred or obtained during orientation
• Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI) training preferred or obtained during orientation
• Must be a responsible, supportive team player with the ability to work well in high-stress situations
• Must reside outside of a 50-mile radius from the facility
