Job Opportunity – Emergency Room Nurse – State College, PA 16801

Start Date: September 23, 2026

Location: State College, Pennsylvania

Schedule: Night shift, 12-hour shifts (6:45 PM – 7:15 AM), 36 guaranteed hours per week. This position may include scheduled on-call assignments as needed based on community events and patient volume.

Highlights:

• 91-day travel assignment in a dynamic Emergency Department setting
• Provide professional nursing care across the lifespan from neonate through geriatric populations
• Work with a collaborative team using Emergency Nurses Association (ENA) standards
• Opportunity to utilize triage skills and manage patient flow in a fast-paced environment
• Preference given to candidates with EPIC computer charting experience

Requirements:

• Current Pennsylvania RN licensure
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through American Heart Association
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification through American Heart Association
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification through American Heart Association
• Valid National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification
• Strong verbal, non-verbal, and written communication skills
• EPIC computer charting experience preferred
