Job Opportunity – Nursing Manager/Director, Nurse Educator – Juneau, AK 99801
Start Date: September 14, 2026
Location: Juneau, Alaska
Schedule: Monday through Friday, Days, 40 hours per week guaranteed
Highlights:
- 91-day travel assignment in a beautiful Southeast Alaska community
- Lead consortium-wide clinical education programs for nursing staff across multiple specialties
- Oversee trauma registrar program and maintain regulatory compliance with state requirements
- Coordinate and provide instruction for BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP, TNCC, and IHS Emergency Pediatric Hybrid programs
- Partner with site managers to develop clinical competencies and best practices for educational maintenance
- Supervisory role with latitude for independent decision-making and program development
Requirements:
- Active, unrestricted Alaska Registered Nursing license required at time of submittal
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
- Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required; TNCC instructor certification preferred
- Minimum 3 years of professional clinical instructor experience
- Minimum 5 years of professional nursing experience with at least 2 years as staff RN in a specialty area (ER, ICU, OB, or OR)
- Two years of supervisory experience required
- Proof of flu vaccine required
- Prior Emergency Room/Trauma and/or remote rural experience preferred
