Description

Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse (Home Health / Geriatric) – Kalamazoo, MI 49007

Start Date: September 9, 2026

Location: Kalamazoo, Michigan

Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM with on-call and holiday rotations. 40 guaranteed hours per week.

Highlights:

91-day travel assignment providing clinical care to elderly participants in a PACE program setting
Combination of clinic-based and home-based direct nursing care
Work independently applying advanced nursing knowledge in geriatric and home health settings
Triage emergent situations and manage complex clinical conditions in coordination with primary care providers
Perform wound care, lab draws, nurse assessments, and administer treatments and medications as prescribed
Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to deliver comprehensive care

Requirements:

Active Michigan RN license
Associate's degree in Nursing required; Bachelor's degree preferred
Minimum one year of experience working with frail, elderly, or long-term care populations
Home care experience preferred (minimum one year)
Wound care experience preferred (minimum one year)
Current CPR certification by AHA or willingness to obtain
Valid Michigan driver's license, reliable transportation, and current auto insurance
Full vaccination required or willingness to be vaccinated against Influenza, MMR, Varicella, Tdap/Td, COVID-19, and Hepatitis B
