Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse, Labor and Delivery – Napa, CA 94558

Start Date: October 26, 2026

Location: Napa, California

Schedule: Day shift, 3x12-hour shifts (07:00 - 19:00). Every other weekend required. Possible call depending on patient census. Float to Medical-Surgical and Orthopedic units as needed. Maximum 7 days of requested time off per contract. Must commit to working 3 of 5 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day).

• Epic charting system experience required
• Opportunity to work with a full-service Labor and Delivery program including high-risk deliveries

Requirements:

• Active California RN license or Compact license (must be in hand at time of submission; pending licenses not accepted)
• Minimum 2 years of Labor and Delivery nursing experience required
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP, AWHONN Intermediate or Advanced
• Epic charting system experience required
• Proficiency in sterile vaginal exams (required, hard stop)
• Strong skills in fetal monitoring, labor support, vaginal and cesarean deliveries, postpartum care, and neonatal resuscitation
• Experience with high-risk deliveries, couplet care, and comprehensive newborn assessment
• Two professional references covering 1 year within the last 3 years
• Clean background check required (no exceptions for background findings)
• Candidates must reside outside 50-mile local radius for standard compensation
