Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse, Long Term Care – Seward, AK 99664

Start Date: November 3, 2026

Location: Seward, Alaska

Schedule: 4x12-hour shifts (variable day or night shifts based on facility needs at time of start). Shifts will be either Days (07:00 - 19:30) or Nights (19:00 - 07:30). Nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:20. Guaranteed 60 hours per 2-week period. Choice of 13-week or 26-week assignment duration.

Requirements:

• Active Alaska RN license required at time of submission (Compact license accepted)
• Minimum 1 year of nursing experience required
• Previous travel nursing experience required; first-time travelers not accepted
• Long-term care experience required
• BLS certification required
• Experience with 1:20 patient ratios preferred
• Skills required: oxygen administration, peripheral line care, isolation precautions/PPE
• Must reside at least 50 miles from the facility (local candidates not accepted)
• Willingness to work at least 2 of the 3 major winter holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year's)
• Alaska Food Worker Certification will be obtained during on-site orientation (one-time $10 fee)
