Description
Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse, Labor and Delivery – Issaquah, WA 98029
Start Date: October 19, 2026
Location: Issaquah, Washington
Schedule: Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts (19:00 - 07:30). Contract duration of 13 or 26 weeks available. Staffing ratio 1:1-3. Float to Post-Partum and potentially to other Labor and Delivery units based on skill set and facility needs.

- Flexible holiday scheduling – only required to work 1 of 3 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas/Eve, New Years/Eve) with ability to request up to 2 major holidays off
- Comprehensive Labor and Delivery unit with 8 labor rooms and 4 triage rooms, handling 200-300 births per month
- Exposure to diverse patient care including low risk labor and delivery, high risk deliveries, GYN surgeries, couplet care, and transition nursery
- First-time travelers accepted with appropriate experience and certifications
- 40 hours of paid orientation provided
Requirements:
- Active Washington state RN license or Compact license
- Minimum 2 years of Labor and Delivery nursing experience required
- Epic charting system experience required
- Required certifications: BLS, FHM (Fetal Heart Monitoring), NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program), AWHONN Intermediate
- ACLS certification preferred
- Experience with blood/blood products administration, epidural pumps, PCA pumps, anticoagulation therapy, magnesium sulfate therapy, insulin drips, and wound care
- Competency in circulating for C-sections, assisting with high risk deliveries, triage of obstetrical patients, and use of IUPC placement and calibration
- Experience caring for adolescents, adults, and infants
- Two professional references covering 1 year of experience within the last 3 years
- Clean background check required
