Job Opportunity – Physical Therapist, Inpatient Rehabilitation – Anchorage, AK 99503
Start Date: November 9, 2026
Location: Anchorage, Alaska
Schedule: Day shift, 5x8-hour or 4x10-hour shifts (7:00 AM - 5:00 PM), 2 weekend shifts per month required. 13-week assignment.
Highlights:
- Work in a 56-bed specialty facility featuring a 46-bed inpatient rehabilitation unit and 10-bed LTACH/ICU
- Treat diverse patient populations including adults and geriatrics with various diagnoses including stroke rehabilitation, traumatic brain injury, spinal cord injury, and orthopedic conditions
- Utilize Epic charting system in a modern rehabilitation environment
- Free parking and flexible scrub color policy
- First-time travelers accepted with at least one year of experience
- Commitment to working 3 of 5 major holidays required (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)
Requirements:
- Active Alaska Physical Therapy license or compact PT license required at submission
- Current BLS certification
- Minimum one year of physical therapy experience
- Experience with Epic charting preferred
- LTAC experience preferred
- Must reside at least 50 miles from the facility
- Two professional references covering one year within the last three years
- Clean background check required
