Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse, Labor and Delivery – Everett, WA 98201

Start Date: October 26, 2026

Location: Everett, Washington

Schedule: Night shift, 4x12-hour shifts (19:00 - 07:30), 91-day assignment. Weekend coverage required. Float to Postpartum as needed. No call required. Guaranteed hours with potential for one 12-hour call-off per two-week period.

Highlights:

• High-risk perinatal care in a Level II Trauma Center with comprehensive maternity services and Level II NICU
• Modern 19-bed Labor and Delivery unit with 10 antepartum beds, 30 postpartum beds, 3 operating rooms, and 7-bay triage
• Excellent staffing ratios: 1:1 in labor, 1:3 couplets in postpartum with CNA support, 1:2-3 in antepartum
• Robust interdisciplinary support including 24/7 delivering providers, CRNAs, surgical techs, and health unit coordinators
• Epic charting system with 40 hours of paid orientation
• Facility-paid parking and professional work environment

Requirements:

• Active Washington RN license or Compact license (must be in hand at submission)
• Minimum 2 years of Labor and Delivery nursing experience required
• Experience in facilities handling 100+ deliveries per month preferred; 200+ deliveries ideal
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP, and AWHONN Intermediate or Relias Fetal Monitoring (all certifications are hard requirements)
• Epic charting experience required
• Must be proficient in sterile vaginal exams (SVE) – hard requirement
• Strong skills in high-risk deliveries, cesarean sections, neonatal resuscitation, fetal monitoring, and postpartum care
• Must not reside within 50-mile local radius
• Two professional references covering one year within the last three years
• Clean background check required; no exceptions for background or Nursys hits
• Commitment to work 3 of 5 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)
